Simon Markham

Script Editor & Development

Simon Markham was a lecturer in English at St. John’s College, Oxford, after winning a British Academy Major State Studentship to study for his Doctorate on law and literature at the University. He is also an NCTJ-trained journalist who has worked for Trinity Mirror and red-top dailies. In 1997 he joined Loud Mouse Productions and and then in 2008 he partnered with Bob Portal at Fidelity Films. Simon has completed the features Red, White and Blue and Mission London in 2010. He has also attended the European Media Film Business School, and the Artista script editor training course, and has worked across a number of screen agencies. He has co-produced Mancrush, Faulty and Pastoral for A-Z Films.
